Andrew was able to go fishing yesterday. But he had to pull the nets out so we won't be able to do any Saturday markets. He said he tried to set his nets back twice and both times the wind and waves stopped him. The winds are going to pick up today and tomorrow though so maybe it was for the best anyways.
Right now we are trying to plan out our winter and this wind is playing a pretty major role in it. I can't remember a year the wind has played such a huge part.
We will be attending the Grey Bruce Food Summit on Monday up here in Owen Sound. Looking forward to it for we very rarely have the opportunity to meet other businesses in this area. I have a slideshow ready to show of what we do and the way Andrew fishes. Also a brouchure that just needs to be touched up that hopefully informs people of where we are and what we can offer. I think I am also just happy to see that this area is starting to support their local food producers.
