Today is our oldest boys birthday. Seventeen years old. Time has flown by. I still remember tucking him into a car seat in a one piece snow suit that the zipper ran from his knee to his chin to go to market. That seems like another lifetime ago. I can also remember being able to carry him up to bed. Not anymore!
The wind is horrible up here today and expected to continue till midweek. I assume this is March ending in a roar. Well, that is okay as long as spring does come eventually.
Right now getting the fish prepared to be smoked tomorrow. We plan on being to Dufferin this week and apologize for missing last week. Things just don't work out as planned all the time. We did make it to Wychwood on Saturday though.
Everything seems to have fallen back into place after March Break. Boys are back to school and fish are on the go again.
The CSF we are running this year is going along quite fine. People seem to enjoy the Fishy Dollars and the flexibility that comes with it. When you pay, we will give you an envelop with the Fishy Dollars in it. They aren't valid until April 4th though. This allows us a couple of weeks to ensure everyone got their vouchers and get an idea of how many will be participating in this new program. Again, thank you for your continued support.
Other than this all going on, it seems pretty quiet or normal chaos. Still a lot of planning to do on this upcoming year. Just getting organized I guess.
