Busy day yesterday. I went on the water yesterday with Andrew and I remember why I miss it when the winds are calm. It was beautiful, still and quiet... So quiet out there before all the tourists join us this weekend. We will return to quiet on the water again after Thanksgiving. I have some pictures of what we saw yesterday but really the pictures don't even come close.
In the evening Andrews Uncle and Aunt from Sarnia Reserve paid us a surprise visit and it was nice to see them. They were on their way to Manitoulin Island and will be swing by again on their way home.
Yesterday we caught 200 lbs approximately of whitefish and trout. The catch was good and some of the trout were huge. They are on the smoker right now getting ready for Thursday. The whitefish also were a nice size. We also caught a creature that wasn't so nice. A lamprey eel.
Today we are not fishing. We are giving our truck a little bit of TLC. Also the smoker is going and we are trying to plan for the long weekend.
