Busy Couple of Days

What a weekend. First we made it to and from Wychwood market on Saturday. Then we came home to find out the boys had a bike race in London and we had to load up Saturday night. A van was taking some the team members down. We had to be ready to leave first thing in the morning. London is a four hour drive for us one way. Three other young girls joined us and fun was had by all.
The race was great. Only two of my boys were able to race and they placed second and fourth in their age category. Impressive for the amount of travelling they did. My oldest son was to old for the race so he stayed back with his dad and went fishing and hiking for the afternoon. They brought back fish, fourty something morels and some leeks. Pretty productive day.
Then today, the winds may shift so Andrew went out fishing to move one net and he came back with a box of whitefish/lake trout. We pinboned some of it, put some into the brines and froze the rest. We had a late dinner and now trying to get ourselves ready for another day.
Tomorrow may be more fishing for now the winds are suppose to change again so two nets may also need to be adjusted. We will know better in the morning. Also my smoker will be put on for Thursdays Dufferin Market. Environment Canada Weather is calling for rain in Toronto on Thursday but hopefully it will either rain before or after the market.
Hopefully I will be able to update this tomorrow. Till then, take care.
